FEM International is a not-for-profit organization founded in 2005. In Montreal, the organization is involved in promoting ethical production and consumption in the fashion and textile industry, based on sustainable development principles. For that purpose, FEM created ModEthik the ethical fashion fair of Montreal, and Ethik-BGC, the ethical fashion and sustainable development business incubator. The organization also co-produced the first market study on ethical fashion in Canada with ethiquette.ca and has produced promotional videos and lectures on ethical fashion  and sustainable development.

Since 2008, FEM International has been teaching women entrepreneurs in Montreal and abroad how to incorporate responsible practices into their business projects while promoting a sustainable development approach to benefit themselves, their communities, and the environment.
